Deprey Classic 2017

The 2017 Deprey Classic was held today. Despite the cold temperatures, 39 racers took to the 6km course. Jason Bartley won for the men with a time of 17:21 and Abigail Streinz took home first place for the women with a time 20:22. Madawaska Nordic founding father, Reno Deprey, was on hand and donned bib #86, proudly representing his age as he toured the course with his wife, Becky. Both Reno and Becky graciously provided raffle prizes for the race, along with Lyn Michaud of The Ski Shop in Van Buren.
