Youth Ski Program: The Four Seasons Trail Association, in conjunction with the Madawaska Recreation Department, held a youth ski program every Saturday afternoon from January 2, to March 13, at Four Seasons Trail. Dawn Bragdon was in charge of this Saturday afternoon program where the participants played games to help their balance, skied in the terrain park, and tested their skills through obstacle courses, which contained limbo sticks and half moon gates. Sometimes the participants tested their lungs by skiing the three-kilometer flag loop. Each session ended with a cup of hot chocolate and warming up by the fire inside the lodge. Progress made by some of these participants since the beginning of the year was incredible. The program will culminate this weekend with a Tiki Torch Night on March 20 at 7:00 p.m. Torches will light up a two-kilometer loop. Food and drinks will be provided by the Recreation Department and served to participants and parents in attendance.
